vegetarian standards for milk needed Are you a member of the UK Vegetarian Society?

Please use your vote to introduce a minimum standard for cows producing  vegetarian society trademark approved milk and products containing dairy. Unlike the Soil Association, RSPCA, CIWF, FAWC, Little Red Tractor, Marks & Spencers and other retailers The Vegetarian Society currently have no animal welfare standards for poor dairy cows.

Vote now to reduce the suffering of cows and protect the food chain.

poor cow udders Are you concerned about genetically modified foods?

Don't let GM in by the back door, ask your supermarket to demand that suppliers refrain from feeding GM foods to livestock. Currently distributors of feed purposefully mix GM grain with non GM grain. Supermarkets are powerful enough to demand segregation on GM animal feed as they did with other foods. Do you want genetically modified material in your milk?
